Introduction


Overview

Dio’s Skill Tree is different from the previous jobs due to the following reasons:

  • The Stygian Tree has a maximum of 30 SP rather than the average 35.
  • It is divided into two tabs which correspond to active and passive skills.
  • Most abilities range from three levels, some with two and rarely with one.
  • Upgrading the ability usually increases the attack power, but may alter its performance.
  • All abilities have a limited cooldown, and cannot be altered in any way with the exception of certain skills.
  • All abilities consume a limited amount of AP. The Action Point consumed can be determined by calculating the percentage of the AP bar.
Active Skills

Stygian’s active bar is divided into two sides, formally known as “Poses”. Each side focuses on one aspect of the Stygian’s abilities.

  • Devil Pose
    The left side of the Stygian’s skill tree. This focuses on magical components and skills. Notable skills include Necrotic and Black Space.
  • Weapon Pose
    The right side of the Stygian’s skill tree. This focuses on mostly stabbing equipment and techniques. Notable skills include Onrush and Vengeful Sword.
Passive Skills

The Stygian’s passive skills focus on things such as AP Recovery rate, Critical chance and Counterattack Cooldown Reduction.

Devil Pose

  • Death Scythe

    Max Level: 3
    Prerequisite: N/A
    SP Cost: 1 per level
    Cooldown: 4 sec
    AP Cost: 20
    Description:
    Lv 1: A short 4 hit combo including swings.
    Lv 2: Increases damage output.
    Lv 3: Becomes a 3 hit combo; the first and second hit being the same and the last hit becoming a launcher. The damage is actually less than Lv 2 however this can be grabbed off of or chained easily to other moves.

  • Death Star Uppercut

    Max Level: 3
    Prerequisite: N/A
    SP Cost: 1 per level
    Cooldown: 2 sec

    Description:
    Lv 1: Simply swings the sycthe up and back, tossing the enemy right behind you.
    Lv 2: Adds a second hit and increases the distance the enemy moves.
    Lv 3: Further increases the distance the enemy moves.

  • Death Star

    Max Level: 3
    Prerequisite: Death Scythe Lv 3; Death Star Uppercut Lv 3
    SP Cost: 1 per level
    Cooldown: 6 sec
    AP Cost: 29
    Description:
    Lv 1: Tosses the Scythe forward while bringing it back as it slides the ground. Quite identical to the Vanquisher’s Furious Boomerang except it lacks vertical range and has improved horizontal range.
    Lv 2: Increases damage output.
    Lv 3: Increases damage output.

  • Dominate

    Max Level: 3
    Prerequisite: N/A
    SP Cost: 1 per level
    Cooldown: 2 sec

    Description:
    Lv 1: Spawns a large hand that pulls in enemies within a distance.
    Lv 2: Increases damage output.
    Lv 3: Increases damage output.

  • Dominate: Increased Distance

    Lv 1: Increases the distance of Dominate.

  • Shatter Fist

    Lv 1: Slams a big hand down, launching the enemy into the air.

  • Rake Hand

    Description:
    Lv 1: Summons a giant hand that slashes upwards, launching the enemy into the air.

    SP Cost: 1 per level for Lv 1 and 2; 2 for Lv 3

    Lv 1: Creates a portal on the ground which a giant mouth comes out of, biting all enemies in range and then spitting them out.

    Lv 3: Increases damage output.

  • Black Space

    Prerequisite: Necrotic Lv 3

    Description:
    Lv 1: Dio first creates a vortex which drags all enemies in range closer to him, and then he follows up by creating a large sphere with his wings which any enemy caught in takes consecutive damage.

    Lv 1: Spawns 3 swords from the ground to attack in front.

    Cooldown: 2 sec
    AP Cost: 10
    Description:
    Lv 1: Stabs with a sword while creating a vortex to open up at a larger distance, leaving a wide gap in between. This move also stuns.
    Lv 2: Increases damage output.
    Lv 3: Increases damage output.

  • Flash Sword

    Max Level: 3
    Prerequisite: Vengeful Sword Lv 3; Phase Edge Lv 3

    Description:
    Lv 1: Makes a quick jab while dashing forward.
    Lv 2: Increases damage output.
    Lv 3: Increases damage output.

  • Flash Blade: Increased Attack

    Description:
    Lv 1: Increases the number of hits of Flash Sword by 1.

    Description:
    Lv 1: Flash teleports instantly at a short, horizontal distance.

    Description:
    Lv 1: Instantly slams down an Infernal Spear on the ground at a limited distance, causing the opponent to immidiately fly away upon impact.

    Description:
    Lv 1: Summons an Infernal Spear then quickly dashes forward with it, but keeps running. You can run for longer and therefore deal more damage at the cost of draining your AP by holding down the forward key.
    Lv 2: Increases damage output.

    Lv 1: Increases the Dash speed. It is a prerequiste for both Horizontal and Vertical Blink.

    Description:
    Lv 1: Dio receives a counterattack effect, approximately a maximum of 10 seconds of waiting time are applied to all 5 abilities. Reduces the cooldown time to 9 seconds.
    Lv 2: Further reduces the cooldown time to 8 seconds.
