Dragon Knight‘s weapon of choice is the Glaive that specializes in thrusting and slicing attacks. It is a balanced weapon when it comes to close quarter combat and measurable distance. It is excellent in continuous and charging attacks.

Dragon Knight’s magic supports the team’s recovery. Ronan’s magic can annihilate enemies and the Glaive’s battle abilities is at best when used with a combination of magic spells. A spell knight was the one that was able to defeat the dragon, so it safe to say that the Dragon Knight is the best warrior.

Basics:

5 Hit Combo – ZZZZZ
Wiki Description: 5x Hit + Knockdown
Lightsabers’s Description: This is a good way to dish out damage, and the first slash does not need to hit to initiate a combo.
Critical Attack – ZZZZ – >> or <<
Wiki Description: 2x Hit + Dash + 1x Hit (Critical Attack) + Knockup
Lightsabers’s Description: The arrows determine where DK will launch the opponent. A great combo, and is can be chained to an air grab or even a spell the rune.
Double Attack – ZZZZZ – >> or <<
Wiki Description: 5x Hit + Knockdown + 1x Hit (Double Attack) + Knockup
Lightsabers’s Description: This isn’t really applicable in PvP, since your opponent will be pushed back by the last hit already.
Jump Attack – ^ – Z
Wiki Description: Jump + 1x Hit
Lightsabers’s Description: The key attack of DK in PvP. His reach is like that of a spear maiden’s, reaching 225 degrees. It also has a long horizontal reach.
Dive – ^ – v – Z
Lightsabers’s Description: One of the unique attacks of DK. This is great for surprise attacks, and can be chained to a grab, Holy Inferno (Delay Grab), or even Infinity Sword.
Dash Attack Combo – ZZZ
Wiki Description: Dash + 3x Hit + Knockdown
Lightsabers’s Description: A quick way to dish out some good solid damage, this is great for opponents who don’t like going in air. Attacking the opponent while he is in mid-air will result him to fall though.
Shifting from Sword Arts to Magic Arts, and Vice Versa – X
This is one of the most needed things to pull of powerful combos in the DK’s arsenal of skills.

Sword Arts:
Infinity Sword – Hold Z up to one bar.
Wiki Description: Utilizes 2 lower sweeps followed up by 3 powerful jabs. A very common ability used by Dragon Knights. (2x Hit + Knockup + 3x Hit + Knockback)
Lightsabers’s Description: This is great for evading skills, and can be chained to Holy Inferno for an Air Grab, or even Spell the Rune for utilized damage.
Infinity Sword
Sword Tempest – Hold Z up to two bars.
Wiki Description: The Dragon knight does 3 aerial spins, then strikes down while finishing up with a powerful strike. (4x Hit + Knockup)
Lightsabers’s Description: This is one of the most useful skills of DK, having a great range and a front to back reach. The last hit will launch the enemy in the air, which can be chained to Holy Inferno for a grab. It can also be chained to Infinity Sword, but there are chances the opponent will fall before the 3rd hit.
Sword Tempest
Road Star Chaser – Hold Z up to three bars.
Wiki Description: Ronan flips his Glaive and thrusts it into the ground, dealing melee damage and causing 3 magic pillars to juggle the opponent away from the Dragon Knight. (4x Hit + Knockback)
Lightsabers’s Description: One of the long range skills of DK. Deadly when it connects. It can be chained to an Air Grab if the opponent falls of a cliff. (Elven Forest)
Road Star Chaser

Magic Arts:
Holy Inferno – Hold Z up to one bar.
Wiki Description: A buff that increases the HP Regen of all nearby party members by 7 seconds. However, since statistics do not support the buff, it is less effective at higher levels.
Holy Inferno
Lightsabers’s Description: One of the best skills the DK could ever have. This is useful for delay grabbing (Refer to Invi Grab for better reference). This is also great for time stopping, thus letting your allies strike the enemy during the freeze frame.
Spell The Rune – Hold Z up to two bars.
Wiki Description: Creates a shadowy, swirling vortex that does a small DoT effect to those inside it. (17x Hit)
Lightsabers’s Description: One of the most damaging skills in the DK’s arsenal. It can be chained to a grab. For anti counter preferences, use cheshire or Holy Inferno to prevent the opponent from countering. (Much like the MK’s Blast Bless Combo)
Spell The Rune
Arc Breath – Hold Z up to three bars.
Wiki Description: Summons a large dragon to breathe a wave of fire on enemies before quickly disappearing. (30x Hit)
Lightsabers’s Description: Not a very powerful skill, but has insane range. Keep in mind that this skill can be countered. Can kill if opponent takes all 30 hits.
Arc Breath

PvP Tactics: First off, you need a stun lock pet like Chaos Pip, DMG MKIII, and many other more.
The basics in winning this game lies on you power to grab. This will be the main source of damage of all DKs.
Anyways, here we go:
Critical Attack + Air Grab
This is probably one combo all DK’s should learn. This will be one of the main sources of damage you have.
Critical Attack + Air Grab
Spear Maiden Sweep Style: Jump Attack + Grab
As you have read above, the DK’s reach reaches a whopping 225 degrees. Like that of the spear maiden, use the back part of the glaive to fish in the opponent.
Dive Grabbing: Dive + >> / << Z
Another move all DK’s out there should learn. I’ve seen DK’s who slipped the chance to grab me, so with this, utilize the 1 second stun of thrust to grab.
Critical Attack + your awesome stun lock pet + Critical attack + Air Grab
Not really an easily applicable move, but if you deal this then prepare to see you opponent die.

SKILL COMBOS: This is what you have been waiting for. The awesome skill combos. 8D
Infinity Sword + Grab
This is only applicable if your opponent is in the edge of the map. After the IS, go air grab him.
Infinity Sword + Holy Inferno + Air Grab
This is probably one of the hardest to pull combos in the skill combo. This really needs a lot of practice, but you’ll be seeing some real damage in PvP. This can’t be done in practice mode by the way.
Infinity Sword + Spell the Rune + Grab
This is the most damaging combo in the DK’s arsenal. Do note that the spell the rune can be countered. After casting infinity sword, IMMEDIATELY release the z button to fastly accumulate damage.
Sword Tempest + Holy Inferno + Grab
After sword tempest, use the delay in Holy Inferno to Grab the opponent before he even falls down.
360 Degree Tempest + Holy Inferno
Sword tempest’s reach of 360 degrees can be useful for trapping opponents, making them think that you have wasted 2 bars of mana. The back part of the glaive (Opposite of direction you’re facing) will actually hit the opponent. The last hit won’t be able to reach him, so cast HI to do a combo or even just a grab.
Sword Tempest + HI + Stun Lock Pet
Delay of HI + Stun Lock Pet = him standing up. Do whatever you like after >;D
Infinity Sword(Before the last hit) + HI + Stun Lock pet
Delay of HI + Stun Lock pet = Him standing up. Do whatever you desire after >;D
Spell the Rune + HI
HI basically makes spell the rune uncounterable.
