Description

Sarimanok is a Philippine-themed pet. It’s based on a very popular myth in the Philippines, where the Sarimanok is said to be a ‘fiery bird’.

The ethnic tribes of the Philippines also worship Sarimanok’s symbol, which is a Phoenix-like being carved onto a stone of some of sort, for a bountiful harvest.

Evolution

Sarimanok doesn’t have a Pet egg, unlike Slime, Pip (Pepe) and Sidt. Sarimanok also does not have an Evolution.

Pet Acquisition

In PHGC, Sarimanok is obtained just like many other pets are – the Pet Shop!

In NAGC, Sarimanok came during an event for 6000 Cash from the shop. Sarimanok also came as a reward from Black Friday gift boxes.

Attack: Fire Force

Fire Force – Sarimanok unleashes a bolt of fire from the sky. When it hits a target, it will explode and sets them on fire, causing periodic damage for a few seconds. If Fire Force’s projectile misses it will not explode until it hits a platform or the ground.

Tips

In PvP, Sarimanok’s Fire Force will make your opponents fly up a bit as it explodes. Since Sarimanok’s attack has a diagonal trajectory, it can act as an ‘anti-air’ attack, like Ninkoro’s Shuriken, though it doesn’t push enemies back to the ground. It can trigger counters, and also finish off players in Fatal.

In PvM, only small- and medium-sized monsters are launched. And if Fire Force hits an airborne monster, it will elevate rapidly and will fall back down in a few seconds.
