4. I don’t care what anyone says; simplistic, cartoony faces upon a developed human model clashes horribly, regardless of the fact that the character is more light hearted than most.

           So Anime involves a rapid display of IMAGES, and a cartoon is an exaggerated IMAGE (also sometimes in the form of animation).
