Story

With each enemy encounter becoming more difficult than the last, Lass sought out more power. After completing a difficult mission administered by Silvercross Town Thief Guild, he proved his worth and was granted the title of Assassin. Now with new skills and techniques at his disposal, Lass continued on with the Grand Chase in his noble quest of atonement.

Characteristics

The Assassins’ greatest advantage is his dash: he can double dash on the ground, dash in any location, speed up his dash after the second dash, and freely change the dash direction to chase fleeing enemies. He also has great attack speed that can be used to instantly finish enemies at close range, though he may need to change his attack strategies according to how his enemies move.

Prerequisites

1. Worn-Out Assassin Mission (GP)

   ~• Purchase job mission under the “Academy” tab in the shop (4800 GP)
   ~• Gather 300 Scimitar Fragments from the monsters that have gathered between the ~~~Marsh of Oblivion and Gaikoz’s Castle.
   ~• Gather 10 Gaikoz’s Seals by defeating Gaikoz in Gaikoz’s Castle. (Difficulty )

2. Assassin Mission (Cash)
   ~• Purchase job mission under the “Academy” tab in the shop (4600 Cash)
   ~• Gather 10 Scimitar Fragments from the monsters that have gathered between the ~~~Marsh of Oblivion and Gaikoz’s Castle.
   ~• Gather 1 Gaikoz’s Seals by defeating Gaikoz in Gaikoz’s Castle. (Difficulty )

• Frenzy Sword (1st MP)
  Assassin’s 1st grade attack that delivers a triple strike at a target. It has a long period of invincibility like Knight’s Mega Slash, and can be used to dodge enemy’s critical skills. But is more useful since targets cannot evade Frenzy Sword.
• Splash Explosion (2nd MP)
  Assassin’s 2nd grade attack enables the user to strike a target three times with a chain. This skill is effective for finishing targets, although it suffers from a short attack range. The first two strikes are relatively weak, but the last strike inflicts huge damage: if all three strikes connect, the target will be immensely damaged.
• Deadly Sharp (3rd MP)
  Assassin’s 3rd grade attack focuses the Assassin’s energy into one very powerful strike. Be careful using it on maps like Gorge of Oath as it is easy to fall off a ledge while using it.
