Let's get started.
First off let me dive straight into the skill window, here's what it looks like:

This is the basic Talent window. Things here apply to the job you're using and only that job. This window contains things such as: Extended Combos, Better dash attacks, different combos, and some type of new jump attack (I haven't actually witnessed it.)
Let's go ahead and dissect the window.
First, in the top left is this:

This bar is pretty simple.
First it shows WHO you're using, and what level they are.
Next it shows you what job you're using (For when more skills for more jobs come out). You can use the arrow keys beside Elesis to change characters.
Next is the "List of skills" tab.
This tab shows you what skills are avaliable for each level, so if you're unsure if you have a skill at level 36 for example, you can hit the arrow to scroll through the skills. It shows a picture of the skill and gives you an option to upgrade it or not. This is a nifty feature because if you already add a skill it won't show up, allowing you to only find what you don't have. After the skills tab we have the "Point tab"

Luckily for stupid people like us they've included a tab that automatically keeps tally of how many points you SPEND and have. As you can see through the tab, the top left is how many points you have LEFT, the right is how many TOTAL you can have at any given time, the bottom left is how many have been USED ON THAT JOB, and the bottom right is how many can be used on that job. The configuration on the right is for quick access to previous skill set ups, so you don't have to constantly take stuff on and off when you want to switch play modes.
You CAN reset your USED skill points by using this item:
This item is expected to be around 1000~4000 cash on the NtreevUSA server, don't take my word on it. It's important to not invest in skills you won't use, as you may not have enough points for skills you will use.

First is the combo tab. This tab allows you to change your normal combo, so instead of the standard combo, you do a new combo. Simple and easy :) In order to get the different combo you must be LEVEL 13 and have 1 POINT.
Think of this as "Criticals" during a combo. By gaining some of these you can do different things by hitting up + z. I don't know what exactly each one does though. The skills are in sequence, you must unlock the one before it to get it. The first skill is LEVEL 14 and costs 1 POINT, the second skill is LEVEL 17 and cost 1 POINT, and the last skill is LEVEL 17 and cost 1 POINT.

These skills are also "Criticals", and can be performed down in the combo. Each one does something a little different and you must unlocked the one before it to get the next. The first skill needs 1 POINT and LEVEL 5. The second skill needs 1 POINT and LEVEL 15. The third skill needs 1 POINT and LEVEL 22, while the last needs 1 POINT and LEVEL 26.

This skill is actually a true critical, and in order to active it you simply hit over over z, z. I never actually used it but it looks like a type of cleave up skill. It's LEVEL 29 and 1 POINT to use.

This skill is a "Double" attack, during a combo all you have to do is hit over over to activate it. It's LEVEL 29 and cost 1 POINT to activate.

It'd probably help if I actually used rthese skills so I could be more specific, but all I really have experience with is Arme and Lire. This skill activates when you hit z and hit an arrow key after. I have no idea what it does, sorry. LEVEL 29 to use and costs 2 POINTS.

This skill appears to be a "Combo as you Move" type of thing, where it's activated with over z over z over z. It's LEVEL 39 and costs 2 POINTs.

This next skill seems pretty cool, because it mimics a step when you triple tap a directional key. I'm not quite sure HOW it works, but it looks okay. 1 POINT and LEVEL 42 to obtain it.

The skill shown above is an improved and new form of the dash attack (up over over z). This skill is actually really cool and I suggest getting it :P. It's LEVEL 32 and 1 POINT for the first, LEVEL 36 and 1 POINT for the second, and 1 POINT as well as LEVEL 46 for the third.

This last skill looks like an improved jump attack?? I don't know I haven't actually seen it. It says two attacks with sword when in the air. It's LEVEL 48 and 1 POINT.
Alright! We FINALLY got those skills out of the way, believe me, it took longer to list them, cut them, copy them, paste them, save them, upload them, copy them, paste them, describe them, than it took for you to read!! Now lets hit one of the tabs on the left and get to the fun part - Skills!!
First off, heres what the skill window for Elesis looks like:

Full link ^
Alright let's dissect this for you guys. First let me describe for you.
On the left, surrounded by yellow boxes, those are the cash skills. These are the skills that you MUST spend real cash on. In order to use these skills you must purchase a cash key, that looks like this:
These cash keys can be expected to be around 1500~5000 cash depending on what NTreev's price goes for.
These cash keys can be expected to be around 1500~5000 cash depending on what NTreev's price goes for.One key unlocks ONE bar, not just one skill. So Elesis would essentially only need 3 keys (4,500~15,000 cash) if you want all the skills.
Alright, now let's view the skills.

First off, this is the 1 bar GP section. The "Golpe 1" is "Skill 1", which is your 1 bar. When you unlock a skill and equip it, it'll show up in the "Skill 1" box, to show you what you're using.
I don't have much familarity with the Elesis skill tree, and I can't even guess what these skills are. The top skill has only one chain, so once you get it, thats that. The bottom skill has 3 Levels to it, each one doing something different. Skills do not always get stronger when they level up, sometimes it's okay to keep level 2 or 1 if you like it.
The top cash skill is LEVEL 38 and 1 POINT. The bottom starting at level 1 is: LEVEL 6 and 1 POINT, LEVEL 19 and 2 POINTS, LEVEL 31 and 3 POINTS.
Next is the 1 bar GP skill. Each class has a GP and a Cash equivalent. GP skills do not cost Gold, they are simply called "GP" because they are free. For now on, anything I refer to as a GP skill is a "Free" skill.
Heres what the GP skills for Elesis look like:
As you can see, the GP skills consist of less levels of skills, but that doesn't mean they are worse. I'm actually familar with these skills, and I love them! The GP skills combine Spell Knights 2 Bar black magic (The combo) and circle blade. It's a FAST combo (unlike Spell Knights), and them it hits the ground like AK's furious rush, and knocks them up into gripping or Sonic wave distance. I highly recommend at LEAST level 2 of this skill.
Heres the point and level costs:
LEVEL 10 and 2 POINTS For level 2 skill, and level 3 is LEVEL 25 and 3 POINTS.
Next is the two bar.

The two bar consists of a similar build to the 1 bar. You have one skill up top, with no branches, and then 3 levels of two bar on the bottom. I'm pretty sure the last two bar is definitely worth getting, as I believe it mimic's Jin's white flower technique, only more gracefully and faster. The first level of it sucks, or from what I saw when Chunsah was using it.
Here are the required levels: The top skill is LEVEL 41 and 1 POINT, the first skill below it is LEVEL 8 and 1 POINT, the next level of it is LEVEL 22 and 2 POINTS, and the third and final level is LEVEL 33 and 3 POINTS.
I highly recommend the cash 2 bar, or from what I believed I saw ingame, it looks pretty awesome, I'm not sure which is which.
Next is the GP 2 bar set.
Heres what it looks like (yeah pretty dull, all Elesis GP is pretty unoriginal):

I actually dislike the 2 bar, but it's okay. It is an actual improvement over the Sonic wave because it actually hits the opponent, knocks them off, then fires two fire blades at them. Yeah it sounds cool and all, but I had a hard time getting it to connect right. I did die to it a few times, it's worth getting over sonic wave if you don't have the cash. Level 2 is LEVEL 15 and 2 POINTS, while level 3 is LEVEL 30 and 3 POINTS.
Next are the 3 Bars (Thank God I'm almost done!!)
Here is a picture of the cash 3 bars:

I also have never had experience with the cash 3 bars, simply because Elesis has 0 unlocked skills. I can't really explain much about this except for the pre-reqs. All of the GP 3 bars are improvements of the original, so I imagine cash must be good too :)
The top skill is LEVEL 44 and 1 POINT. The level 1 bottom is LEVEL 10 and 1 POINT. The level 2 on the bottom is LEVEL 24 and 2 POINTS, while the next level is LEVEL 35 and 3 POINTS.
Onto the GP 3 bars. Using the GP 3 bars I've seen improvements in being able to catch people and maximize damage without optimizing location like you have to with the original. I definitely believe these are improvements over the first.
Here is a picture:

If you cannot get the Storm Blade or the Cash 3 bar, then I highly suggest upgrading this skill, as it just makes your 3 bar way more useful.
Last but not least, the cash skills are featured on the side of this tab. You cannot actually upgrade the cash skills, they are simply there to show they exist. I will not display an image of them because you can see them in the original :P.
Alright! Moving on to the last tab.
This tab features skills that can be used on ANY job in the Elesis branch. Once you equip these skills anyone can use them!

The first skill "Block", I'm not sure how it works. It's LEVEL 20 and 1 POINT.
Rather simple, yeah.
The next skill you're suppose to hit z up. When you hit Z up your sword / spear / whatever you're using swings fast so it blocks and negates all arrows. I didn't really find a use for it. It's LEVEL 11 and 1 POINT.
The last skill is Super Armor. This effect is only activated when you Berserk (I think it's rather neat). This will give you super armor for 3 seconds, 5 seconds, and 7 seconds, respectively. Level 1 needs LEVEL 30 and 1 POINT, level 2 needs LEVEL 47 and 2 POINTS. Level 3 needs LEVEL 57 and 3 POINTS.
Well! Thats it for this Explanation. I hope it's useful and answers any questions. Let me throw together a quick FAQ, if you have any additional questions I will answer them here:
1. Is there anyway to add skills after you use your points?
No, the only way to add skills after you use all of your points is to buy a point reset scroll for cash.
2. Do you think Elesis will be better with the skill tree?
Definitely.
3. Is there anyway to increase my skill EXP?
You can get additional skill exp by purchasing a red skill ring in the shop, it grants a bonus to your skill SP and it's a timed accessory.
4. What skill set would you recommend for a free user?
I personally use level 2 or 3 first bar, sonic wave, and level 2 or 3 3 bar. As I said before I can't really do good with the 2 bar GP skill :(
5. Do you think skill trees will ruin this game?
Maybe
6. Are you running out of FAQ questions?
Definitely.
7. How can I contact you for another question?

AWESOME GUIDE! xD
Thanks :)
I like it , give a good explanation
Nice explanation indeed. Can't wait for the real thing now!!
Yes Cow it was absolutely shameless of you for advertising you blog but the guide is good none the less.
did anyone else notice the QUESTION MARK after SAVIOR??!
O.O 5th jobs?? maybe you could do a little research bout that, Cow? XDDD
I know that it is a rumor but...no more jobs = GC ends :x
Exactly, I'm pretty confident we'll have more jobs in the future :)
I definitely can't wait!
And sorry about the previous post, Global was on my account, wtg Global.
-Readding accidental post delete-
Anonymous said he's 100% sure there will be additional 5th jobs.
I'd have to say I probably agree with him :)
Sorry for deleting the comment! Was trying to delete Global's lol.
Thanks for the interest guys.
Excellent guide! All my questions have been answered.
Thank you for all your work.
Clearly has obvious mistakes, but other than that it's kind of decent for people who can't tell what the moves did from their descriptions...
Yes sorry, the guide was for the pre-release of the skill tree, so people didn't go bumrushing and wasting cash.
The 2 bar Cash Lv 2 is an AWESOME skill and I highly recommend it :P
It needs work now, but now that the trees are out people don't really need it :)
Don't say that. I'd like to have a guide because it is out now. I want to know which skills are good and which skills are not so good, so that I won't waste points on less useful things. I don't feel like spending lots of cash on resetting my skills.
Do you think you could make a short list of skills that are really useful? Or just say it's better to wait till higher jobs are out? =P
I bet that Elesis's 5th job uses a chain sword.
Hey... please answer if you can?
I play KGC, and I live in the US. I played up to level 46, and I started experiencing game launch failures since I moved to a new state, Michigan.
Um.. do you live in America? If you do, have you ever seen that little annoying error tab that says: Code: UNKNOWNERROR ?
Thanks.
You know it's been a while since you put this out, and all of your other guides on the ST have been a bit better organized and the ratings have done wonders for many people. Do you think you could find an Elesis pro to help you make a rating guide at least on the mp moves?
